Weatherization Fundamentals:

Bozeman

Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to Friday, February 24, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.

Montana Weatherization Training Center, 705 Osterman Drive, 
Bozeman MT

This beginning level school, the first of a two part fundamentals series utilizing the DOE Standardized Curriculum, incorporates topics such as Building Science Basics, Contruction Basics, Heat Loss Theory and Calculations, Weatherization Measures and Montana Standards, Energy Auditing/CDS Energy Audit Introduction, Air Infiltration, Pressure and Thermal Boundaries, Blower Door Basics, Combustion and Ventilation, Water Heaters, Weatherization Health and Safety, Client Education, Infrared Introduction, and more.

COST:  No-charge to sub-grantees and contractors with the Montana Low-Income Weatherizatino Program. 

$325/person for non-program participants.

EPA / HUD Renovation, Repair and Painting Initial Training:

Bozeman

This course was developed by the U.S. EPA, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to train renovation , repair, and painting contractors how to work safely in housing with lead-based paint and comply with EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP)Rule, and HUD's Lead Safe Housing Rule.

COST:  No-charge to sub-grantees and contractors with the Montana Low-Income Weatherization Program.

$200/person for non-program participants.
