On May 18, Lt. Governor Mike Cooney and Department of Commerce Director Meg O’Leary presented the City of Columbia Falls and members of the Columbia Falls Baseball Association (CFBA) with a check for $88,000.

The city received the $88,000 Youth Recreational Facility Grant in January for infrastructure improvements to the road and parking facilities at the Sapa Johnsrud Baseball Fields.

CFBA operates as a Babe Ruth Ripken League, providing baseball opportunities to approximately 200 players each year ages 4–12.
