Friday, March 25, 2016/Categories: Community Development Division, Housing Division

The Montana Department of Commerce released its comprehensive report on the impact of its work as the administrators of a group of Federal Housing programs that serve Montanans across the state.  Broken down by jurisdiction, the publication provides a complete description of each individual Housing and Community Development program in each county and Tribal Reservation in Montana.  Included in each section is a reference to the model used to estimate the economic impact stimulated by the development and rehabilitation of affordable housing and public facilities in Montana.

An epic work project requiring significant inter-divisional collaboration, this coffee table sized book provides a useful guide to the expenditure and impact of public funds across Montana.  This book has easy-to-use tabs make it very accessible. The appendix lists all the housing and community development projects that have been achieved with public and private partnerships across the state of Montana.  The full document is available on-line at www.housing.mt.gov.
