HOME Program Update:
Recaptured Funds / Program Income / CHDO Proceeds
This training for HOME Program Grantees (financial staff and program staff are strongly encouraged to attend) will cover new rules and limitations on Recaptured Funds, Program Income and CHDO Proceeds. The usage of these dollars has come under scrutiny recently. In order to educate everyone on what can and can't be done, we have scheduled a webinar for February 2, 2010, 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. It will allow the HOME Program to summarize the requirements and try to answer as many questions as possible. This is a public meeting and is open to anyone who wants to attend.

Certification Online Training
This training will be conducted via webinar using GoToWebinar. If you would like to attend live and in person, you may do so in the Small Conference Room, #226, of the Montana Department of Commerce, 301 S. Park Avenue, Helena MT. The workshop will begin at 2:00 p.m. The LIHTC Compliance Team: Emy Ingebritson, Kellie Lynch, and Judy Tice will give the presentation on the COL software and will then allow and encourage questions and discussion from the attendees.

If you are looking for information regarding the administration of an NSP grant, this is the workshop for you. Program Manager, Jennifer Olson and her staff will cover information from the CDBG/NSP Grant Administration Manual. The workshop is designed to provide NSP grantees an opportunity to learn about Chapters 1 through 3, and Chapter 7 and to gain an understanding of how the administration process works specific to NSP grants.
