To verify that MBOH has received a mortgage loan payment, a borrower can:
Log into the Borrower's Portal View with their User Name and Password to access their mortgage loan. If a borrower does not have a User Name or Password set up, they can click "create account" to input their loan number and Social Security Number.

No, the Montana Board of Housing does not refinance loans.
At this time, MBOH does not have online banking capabilities.
To access the Borrower Portal View, go to https://montanaloans.mt.gov. If you have not already created an account, click on "create account" to input your loan number and Social Security Number to register.
A borrower can find out what there loan number is by contacting MBOH at 406-841-2799 or Toll Free at 855-841-2799. A servicing team member can look a loan number up using name and property address.
To find out what a mortgage loan balance, or unpaid principal balance (UPD) is, a borrower can log into the Borrower Portal View or by calling MBOH at 406-841-2799 or Toll Free at 855-841-2799.
In order for a borrower to receive a copy of their mortgage tax information, they must call the Loan Servicing Department at 406-841-2799 or Toll Free at 855-841-2799 to request a copy of their tax information be mailed to them.
To get a payment history, a borrower has the option to print one off of the Borrower's Portal View or by calling MBOH at 406-841-2799 or Toll Free at 855-841-2799 to request one to be mailed to them.
To get a payoff quote on a mortgage loan, the borrower needs to submit a written request with the anticipated date funds would be in MBOH's office via fax at 406-841-2841. Please send "Attn: Amy" and allow 48 hours for response.
If a borrower becomes delinquent on their mortgage loan, they need to contact the Loan Servicing Department as soon as possible by calling 406-841-2799 or Toll Free at 855-841-2799 to find out their options. Options vary based on whether a mortgage loan is insured by FHA, VA, RD or HUD184.
A payment coupon book will be sent to each borrower at the beginning of every calendar year (January) unless their payment is withdrawn automatically through ACH. If a borrower loses their coupon book, they need to call the Loan Servicing Department at 406-841-2799 or Toll Free at 855-841-2799 to request a new one. Coupon books take approximately two weeks to arrive in the borrower's mail box.
