Technical Assistance

Workgroup leader: Gus Byrom

Task: This workgroup will create a process that communities can use in their search for housing technical assistance. Creation of a brochure and a web site which contains technical assistance information will be forthcoming. Provision of information for assistance in writing grants will be explored and developed. Perhaps guidance in restoring building skills to communities that will help solve housing needs will be explored.

Planned Topics: Discuss checklist to be used during communities' discussions about housing. Set date for list serve creation. Set date for creating draft of a Community Affordable Housing Needs Assessment Survey. Discuss creating a "cheat sheet" to direct callers to correct program.
